On March 7<\/span>th<\/span> and 8<\/span>th<\/span> 2023, the Retail Leaders Circle hosted its 9<\/span>th<\/span>\u202fMENA Summit. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Under the theme\u202f<\/span>\u201cDigital Economy and Purposeful Growth\u201d<\/span><\/b> the Summit\u2019s 9<\/span>th<\/span>\u202fedition returned to Riyadh for a third time, more powerful than ever bringing together influential C-suite leaders, industry pioneers, innovators, investors and senior policy-makers to take stock of an industry in the midst of rapid reinvention and debate on what the future holds for retail and commerce. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

H.E. Eng. Ammar <\/span>Nagadi<\/span>, the Vice Minister of Economy and Planning, delivered the opening keynote speech on the first day and <\/span>talked about the <\/span>t<\/span>he<\/span> r<\/span>ole <\/span>o<\/span>f <\/span>G<\/span>overnment <\/span>i<\/span>n <\/span>e<\/span>nabling <\/span>a<\/span> f<\/span>uture-<\/span>p<\/span>roof <\/span>r<\/span>etail <\/span>e<\/span>cosystem.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

Amongst the summit\u2019s speakers were business leaders from top organizations including Visa, Saudi 100 brands, eXtra, channels by stc, Chalhoub Group, TikTok, Snap, Alsulaiman Group and Zid.  <\/span><\/p>

Retail Leaders Circle in collaboration with <\/span>Snap and PwC revealed a new Whitepaper with the title \u2018The shift towards immersive shopping: New opportunities for retailers in KSA.\u2019 The Whitepaper aims to highlighting the importance of immersive shopping in the modern-day Saudi consumer who is characterized by a complex, constantly evolving behavior. <\/span> <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
